About InBrowserApp

Free, private tools — right in your browser

Our Mission

InBrowserApp was built with one goal in mind: give everyone access to powerful, everyday utility tools without sacrificing privacy or requiring an account. We believe that working with your own files should not mean uploading them to a third-party server, paying a subscription, or creating yet another login.

Every tool on InBrowserApp runs entirely in your browser using modern web technologies like JavaScript and WebAssembly. Your files are processed locally on your device and never transmitted over the internet. When you close the tab, your data is gone — because it was never stored anywhere in the first place.

What We Offer

InBrowserApp provides over 38 free tools across three categories:

PDF Tools

Merge, split, compress, rotate, watermark, add page numbers, annotate, sign, convert, and run OCR on PDF files — all without uploading a single byte.

Image Tools

Edit images online, convert between formats (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF), and convert between raster and vector (SVG) formats — instantly and privately.

Data Tools

Format and diff JSON and CSV, encode/decode Base64 and URL strings, generate hashes, decode JWTs, encrypt with AES, create QR codes, and much more.

Our Core Principles

Privacy by Design

We do not collect, transmit, or store any of your files or data. All processing happens inside your browser using local compute. There is no backend server processing your documents.

Speed and Simplicity

Because files never leave your device, there is no upload/download round-trip. Processing is fast and the interface is intentionally kept simple so you can accomplish tasks in seconds, not minutes.

Always Free

All tools are free to use. We are supported by non-intrusive display advertising (Google AdSense) and voluntary contributions via Buy Me a Coffee. No paywalls, no file size limits hidden behind a subscription, no account required.

Technology

InBrowserApp is built using Next.js and React, deployed as a static site on Cloudflare Pages. The heavy lifting — PDF processing, image manipulation, OCR, encryption — is handled by well-established open-source libraries such as pdf-lib, pdfjs-dist, Tesseract.js,Fabric.js, and WebAssembly-based modules. This means everything runs natively in modern browsers without any server-side infrastructure.
